Using command history with the C shell

To display the command history list enter the command:

    history

This displays a numbered list of commands in the order in which you have used them.

• Changing the size of the command history
• Saving command history between logins
• Re-running a command from the history list
• Previewing a command from the history list
• Editing a previous command line
