12/12 Review Sheet. These are just group theory problems
for a review of rings look at our old exams, old practice problems, old homeworks etc.
12/07 Remember that our final exam is scheduled for Wednesday, December 20th from 12:00pm until 3:00pm
in our regular classroom.
We will finish up the material from 7.8 and 7.10 on Monday and then start reviewing and review and review
some more. Then just when you thought we were done reviewing, we'll review again!
Anyway, I have reserved Hill Center room 423 for a review session on Tuesday, December 19th from
3:00pm until 6:00pm. Bring all of your final questions then!
As discussed in class, the last homework is due this upcoming Wednesday and it is 'optional' -- meaning
you don't need to turn it in if you've done well on previous homeworks. Although it would be FOOLISH to
not do these homework problems at all since these sorts of things have a habit of showing up on exams.
I will post a review sheet later.
12/04 I have changed the last two homework sets a little (7.6's problems
are now due a week later and the last homework set is changed to
choose 4 out of 7).
11/28 I have posted Workshop #9 version 2.0 -- errors/typos corrected and problem 5 added.
