The classification of gravitational instantons

Location:  Hill 705
Date & time: Tuesday, 25 October 2016 at 3:00PM - 3:11PM

Gao Chen, Stony Brook: A gravitational instanton is a complete non-compact Calabi-Yau surface, i.e. hyperkahler 4-manifold with an appropriate curvature decay condition on the end. In this talk, I will discuss the classification of gravitational instantons with faster than quadratic curvature decay condition. It's a joint work with Xiuxiong Chen.'
