NUMBER THEORY BEYOND THE RIEMANN HYPOTHESIS
Henryk Iwaniec,
Department of Mathematics,
Rutgers University, New Brunswick
Abstract. It is a perception of mathematicians that the Riemann
Hypothesis
is the Final Frontier of number theory. In my talk I will try to
convince
that there is a healthy life in analytic number theory with or without
the
Riemann hypothesis. I will discuss limitations of the RH and present
some
results which supercede the capability of the RH.
