Special Permission

Special permission numbers are required for students attempting to register for a closed section. Only designated department advisors are authorized to give out special permission numbers.

Prerequisite Overrides

The New Brunswick Registrar's Office has a new email site that will allow departmental advisors to email approvals for prerequisite overrides on behalf of students requesting their courses.

Procedure for authorized departmental advisors only:
Email your requests to: prereqs@rci.rutgers.edu.
Include the following information:

student name
ruid number
course number
index number
student's email address (if available)
