Welcome to the Department of Mathematics at Rutgers University, part of the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS). The purpose of this page is to provide links to pre-college students with a strong interest in mathematics.

Programs
- Young Scholars Program in Discrete Mathematics (Summer)
- The Rutgers Young Scholars Program in Discrete Mathematics is designed to encourage talented high school students to consider careers in the mathematical sciences.
- The Governor's School of New Jersey in the Sciences (Summer)
- Applicants should apply in the fall of their Junior Year.
- The Gelfand Correspondence Program
- For students aged 13-17. The Gelfand Correspondence Program in Mathematics (GCPM) is a correspondence program in mathematics at Rutgers University directed by Professors R. Wilson and I. Gelfand.
- Promys (Summer)
- On the Boston University Campus
- Center for Talented Youth, Johns Hopkins
- Distance Education. Provides challenging academic courses all year long for eligible students in grades K through 12.
