Grading:

Midterm 1, Thursday March 7 in class, 20%
Midterm 2, Monday April 8 in class, 20%
Final exam, Thursday May 9, 9-11 am in SC-121, 40%
Weekly Homeworks, 20% total.

Midterm 1:

Here is some advice for studying and solutions to selected problems from homework sets 1 and 2. You may also wish to look at Homework set 3 for some practice with sets. Good luck!

Midterm 2:

Here is some advice for studying.
Review problems that we didn't do in class: page 1, page 2, page 3.
Solutions to some of the homework problems can be found below.
I hope that I can hand out graded homework in my office hours Friday; when/if this is confirmed, I will update this page with a notice.
Finally, you might wish to look at homework set 5.

Note: As agreed in class, the time is changed to 9-11 am.
