Homework is optional. If you choose to turn in homework, you will receive credit for the problems that you attempt. You will not be graded on the correctness of your solutions. For each homework assignment, there will be four points possible. You will receive points as follows:

If you show an attempt at every problem, you will receive 4 points

If you show an attempt at 3/4 of the problems or more, you will receive 3 points

If you show an attempt at 1/2 of the problems or more, you will receive 2 points

If you show an attempt at 1/4 of the problems or more, you will receive 1 point

Homework is due at the beginning of each recitation session.

There will be 13 homework assignments throughout the semester. At the end of the semester,

If you have 52 homework points, your 3 lowest quiz scores will be dropped.

If you have 40 homework points or more, your 2 lowest quiz scores will be dropped.

If you have 28 homework points or more, your lowest quiz score will be dropped.
