To login to the sakai program, go to: https://sakai.rutgers.edu/portal .
In the top righthand corner, you can login using your eden account id and password.
Once logged in, you should see a tap for "01:640:152:45F08". Click on this tab.
Here you will see Recent Announcements, Recent Chat Messages, and a calendar.
On the left hand side, you can look at Announcements, Chat Room, Discussion and Private Messages, Gradebook, Mailtool, Resources, Schedule, and Polls.
I will post any announcements under the Announcements tab. The most recent ones will show up on the homepage.
I hope that you will use the chat room. It will allow you to talk to one another right away. There is a list of who is currently logged in at the bottom left of the screen.
The Discussions link will allow you to post questions and answers. I may also contribute to some of these discussions and the chat room.
I will post grades in the Gradebook. Your grades will only be visible to you.
The mail tool will allow you to send emails to each other and to me.
Under the Resources link, I have put the course website link from my webpage www.math.rutgers.edu/~blight
Under the Schedule link, there is a calendar of events. I will post due dates and exam dates on the calendar. I believe you can also modify your calendar to have any information you want.
Finally, the polls link is a way for you to give me feedback for specific questions. In particular, there is a poll for when my office hours should be.
