| In the Spring of 2008, I am teaching Math 492, an undergraduate seminar course, based on the classic text of Hardy, Littlewood and Polya,
and a graduate topics course based on the text Optimal Mass Transportation, by Cedric Villani -- a future classic! |

I do research in functional analysis and probability, primarily on problems of mathematical physics, especially non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, and on variational problems and related geometric inequalities. Copies of my latest papers, on which I am currently lecturing, can be found on my preprint page. | |
