Material is added to this website as the course proceeds. Students should check here regularly for information on reviews for exams, workshops, syllabus and regular homework, challenge problems, &c.

WORKSHOPS.   On most Thursday we'll have a workshop. Check this website for the worksheets, which will usually be posted a day or two before the workshop. Your written solutions are due on the following Thursday.   NO LATE WRITE-UPS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Your exposition should be correct, clear, and complete.   For more details on what constitutes a good write-up, read this brief document on writing solutions to workshop problems.

QUIZZES.   We'll have a quiz every Monday, beginning with September 8th (a day which has a Monday schedule at Rutgers). Each quiz will be about the material covered during the preceding week. Homework problems are a good guide for preparing to take the quizzes — and the exams. NO MAKE-UP QUIZZES WILL BE ALLOWED WITHOUT GOOD CAUSE.

MAPLE LABS Four Maple labs will be assigned during the semester, in addition to the introductory Lab 0.

Maple Lab 4 is due Monday, November 23.
Here are the three files you will need for Lab 4:
