Announcements
<9/25> Better late than never, right. By the end of the day, several things will be posted. In particular, check back soon to get some tips on this week's homework -- you have to use maple or some program unless you want to spend hours doing tedious computation
<9/25> All right, click for some maple related help on Ch 8
<9/27> I guess the maple code wasn't too helpful since nobody noticed the error I had in it. I've fixed the error, anyway. Make sure your "do loop" start with the phrase "for i from 1 to n do". I've also noticed that copying the code and pasting it into Maple doesn't work so well. You have to retype it. But it's short. Hopefully a least a few people will find it helpful.
<10/02> Here's a few comments on Lab 1 . If you want anything added, let me know.
<10/06> Here's an outline of exam 1 concepts that you should know.
<10/29> Here's an extensive disucssion on Lab 3 And here's the link I sent you about solving charactericstic equations where the roots are roots of a negative number: Complex roots problem .
<11/06> Here's part 1 of an outline of exam 2 concepts that you should know.
<11/06> And here's the handout on the method of undetermined coefficients that you should know.
<11/06> Here's the solution to problem 6d in section 7.4.
<11/10> Here's the second part of the review: more exam 2 concepts . The quiz solutions are below. Quiz 8 will be up by Sunday.
