Professor in the Rutgers University (New Brunswick) Department of Mathematics.

My Spring 2016 teaching was
640:549 - Lie Groups Woodward, Christopher 18483 1 MW4 1:40 PM - 3:00 PM HLL-425 BUS My office , Hill Center Room 726, is on Busch campus. The telephone number is 848-445-6918. A curriculum vitŠ is here .

My research interests include symplectic and algebraic geometry, Lie theory, gauge theory, and mathematical physics.

In 2015-16 I was co-organizer of the Geometry, Symmetry and Physics seminar. This seminar will resume in 2017-18.

Some of my math papers and related links are available here. A few talks are also available as well as course notes on linear algebra and mathematical reasoning .

I am an associate editor for Selecta Mathematica . From 2009-2015, I was the differential geometry editor accepting new submission for Transactions of the American Mathematical Society . Although I am handling submissions made during this period, new submissions in this area are now being handled by Melissa Liu (Columbia).

Some student and faculty mentees with following positions.

A link to some K-12 material , including material for a geometry course for in-service and pre-service teachers.

Eduardo Gonzalez and I organized a workshop on Equivariant Gromov-Witten theory and applications at the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics in May 2014.
