Chris Woodward
Professor in the Rutgers University (New Brunswick) Department of Mathematics.

My office , Hill Center Room 336, is on Busch campus. The telephone numbers are 732-445-2390 x2466, FAX 732-445-2930 x5530. A short-ish curriculum vitae is here .

Next fall I am teaching Math 197, Topics in Mathematics for Elementary Teachers, Geometry and Math 250, Introduction to Linear Algebra. Special Permission numbers are available only here . My Fall 2009 office hours are tentatively Tuesdays, 1-2pm in Hill 336. Please e-mail me if you are planning on coming; I am occasionally out of town for conferences etc.

My research interests include symplectic and algebraic geometry, Lie theory, gauge theory, and mathematical physics.

I am co-organizing a Conference on Equivariant Gromov-Witten theory and symplectic vortices at Luminy, France, July 6-10, 2009.

I am co-organizer of the Geometry, Symmetry and Physics seminar.

Some of my math papers and related links are available here.

A few talks are also available.

I am an associate editor for Selecta Mathematica and the differential geometry editor for Transactions of the American Mathematical Society
