Course Information:
- Prerequisite: Multivariable Calculus. No exceptions. A working knowledge of multiple integrals and partial derivatives is essential for the course.
- Text: Sheldon Ross, A FIRST COURSE IN PROBABILITY, 7th edition, ISBN # 0-13-185662-6, Prentice-Hall.

Required Work:
- Reading: If on the day of Lecture n we cover sections x.a–y.b of the textbook, students are expected to carefully read these sections before the following lecture.
- Homework: The assigned exercises due on the day of Lecture n (as indicated in the table below) should be completed before that lecture. Homework will not be collected.
- Quizzes: There will be frequent quizzes based on the homework assignments. If you do the homework, the quizzes will be a snap.
