Title: Vanishing theorem of Hochschild cohomology
Abstract: I'll prove that for an associative algebra A over the field of complex numbers, H*(A, M)=0 for every bimodule M if and only if A is semisimple. If time permits, I'll talk about the issues of getting an analogue for vertex algebras.

Title: Monodromy of the KZ equations (Part 1)
Abstract: In this talk, we introduce the Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations and monodromy representations induced by the geometry of these equations.

Title: Introduction to Hopf algebras
Abstract: In this talk, we define Hopf algebras and give some examples. We introduce Sweedler notation and the Hopf dual. Time permitting, we will introduce tensor categories and braided tensor categories.
