Here's exam 1 for those who wanted to look at it.
I've been getting a lot of querries about this: Your final exam is in PH 111, your usual classroom. 5/8, 12-3.
I will be in my office on 5/7 from 2-5pm. Please look at Prof. Goodman's review problems. After that you could look at the very brief review set of Prof. Greenfield. And if you can make your browser make this legible, then you should also look at Prof. Greenfield's old review problems. At this point you should start practicing some exams. Here's Prof. Greenfield's exam. You can also look at Dr. Z's exams - note that the exams for sections 1-3 and 4-6 are different. And if you still have time, here's a much older exam (1996) of Prof. Greenfield.
Quiz on 4/23 on Line integrals and conservative fields (Sec 16.2,3). It'll be a good idea to review the exam problems on these sections.
Solutions to the second exam:
Problem 1
Problem 2
Problem 3
Problem 4
Problem 5
Problem 6
Problem 7
Problem 8
IMP: The solution to Problem 7 is slightly incorrect. The limits for theta should be from 0 to pi/2 and the answer should be sqrt(pi/2) since the domain is just the first quadrant. Also I've not mentioned partial credit for 3,4,7,8 cause I dont grade them.
I have been getting quite a few querries about Eduardo's policy with grades at the end of the term. I dont know what it is. Please meet with Eduardo during his office hours to know better.
There's no quiz on 4/16. I'll just discuss the exam and collect the maple lab.
Please look at this file for partial solutions to the review.
Recitation on 4/9 will be a (partial) review. Please look at Prof. Greenfield's review problems for sections 14.6,7,8 and chapter 15, 16.1,2. It doesnt cover section 16.3 on conservative fields. For that please look at Prof. Goodman's review. I will try to discuss as many questions as possible. For further practice you may look here.
Student data for the fourth lab is available here. Please email me any doubts you may have. If your name does not appear in the list then please FIRST write to me and I would assign you one of the extra set of points. You may NOT pick one for yourself if your name doesnt appear on the list. This lab is due on April 16th in the recitation. No late submissions would be accepted without a dean/doctor's note.
Quiz 7 on 3/26 on 15.4,6,7,9
Student data for the third lab is available here. Please email me any doubts you may have. If your name does not appear in the list then please FIRST write to me and I would assign you one of the extra set of points. You may NOT pick one for yourself if your name doesnt appear on the list. This lab is due on March 26th in the recitation. No late submissions would be accepted without a dean/doctor's note.

Student data for the second lab is available here. Please email me any doubts you may have. If your name does not appear in the list then please FIRST write to me and I would assign you one of the extra set of points. You may NOT pick one for yourself if your name doesnt appear on the list. This lab is due on February 27th in the recitation.
Student data for the first lab is available here. Please email me any doubts you may have. If your name does not appear in the list then please FIRST write to me and I would assign you one of the extra set of points. You may NOT pick one for yourself if your name doesnt appear on the list. Also, the code that I use to generate student data requires contiguous first and last names, so I've removed all middle initials, hyphens, apostrophies, spaces etc. I apologise for the same. This lab is due on February 13th in the recitation. I or Eduardo (your lecturer) dont grade the labs but the math department assigns another grader for these. So it is very tedious to get corrections made to your lab scores, so please make sure you put in all commands, label all the pictures appropriately, rotate and scale the pictures enough for them to convey everything. You may look at this Grading guide to see what the grading of the lab will be like.
Homework will not be collected on 1/30 because I didnt announce about it in the previous recitation. It will be collected instead on 2/6 along with next week's homework. 2 random problems shall be graded each week. Each homework is worth 10 points, 4 points for attempting all problems and for a tidy legible submission and 3 points each for the problems graded. Please show all the work. Points will not be awarded for writing the final answer but for showing all the steps towards obtaining it. I will not accept any late homework submissions.
There will be a quiz every week starting 2/6. It will cover material from the previous week's recitation. Each quiz will be worth 5 points and shall comprise of a single problem that will look like a harder version of the homework problems. Last 20 min of the class will be devoted to the quiz. All quizzes shall be closed book/notes/calculator. Make-up quizzes will be given during my office hours if you produce a dean/doctor's note.
