This course will cover materials from the textbook, selected according to instructor and students' interests, with an emphasis on modeling and the use of appropriate mathematical techniques. The main prerequisite is familiarity with (ordinary) differential equations and general mathematical maturity.

Student performance will be evaluated based on class participation (attendance to every class is expected), projects, and class presentations.
