Graduate students from the local area attending this MAMLS meeting will be reimbursed $50 per day for expenses on both Saturday Oct 24th and Sunday Oct 25th; this can be arranged at the meeting without prior application. Graduate students from outside the local area should read the next paragraph!!!

Other individual requests for travel support should be directed to ru.mamls.2009gmail.com in advance of the meeting with an estimate of the expenses involved (travel/lodging/subsistence). Such requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis within the limits of the budget. While graduate students, young researchers, female mathematicians and members of underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged to apply for such support, it should be stressed that any participants without their own sources of funding are eligible to apply.
