• 9 July 2008: I give a seminar at LMU München on "Was Temperatur mit Zufall zu tun hat: Kanonische Verteilungen 1866, 1902 und 2006".

• 16 January 2008: I was awarded the Habilitation by the Mathematics Institute of Eberhard-Karls University in Tübingen, Germany. The procedure involved a thesis and a lecture.
