• Information about the Class:

         Jun 23rd: We covered 1.1-1.3 and assigned the first maple labs S0. It's due on June 30th.

         Jun 25th: We discussed 2.1, 2.2 and part of 2.3.

         Jun 27th: We finished up with 2.3, 2.4 and just began 2.5. At the end of the class the 1st quiz has been given. Please be sure no made-up quiz will be given.

         Jun 30th: Continuing with stuff in 2.5 and then 2.6 and 2.7. The second assignment on maple labs S1 has been given. It will be due on Jul 7th.

         Jul 2nd: We have done with Chapter 8, and just begun to deal with Chapter 3. Also the 2^nd quiz was given. Pay attention to the date of the 1^st midterm exam: July 11th.

         Jul 4th: Holiday.

         Jul 7th: We have given back the quiz and begin to learn Section 3.2, 3.3, 3.4.

         Jul 9th: Return S0. For the sake of the incoming midterm, we only covered Section 3.5 and got a very simple beginning on Sec 3.6.

         Jul 11th: Midterm 1.

         Jul 14th: Return Midterm 1. Discuss section 3.6.

         Jul 16th: Return S1. After spending some time on homework of section 3.6,  we skipped 3.7 and went straight to section 3.8 and 3.9.

         Jul 18th: The third maple labs assignment S2 has been given out. It will be due on Jul 25th. We finished Chap 4 today. At the end, the 3^rd quiz was given.

         Jul 21st: Return quiz 3. We discussed sec 5.5 and 7.1. Announce the date for the 2nd mid-term: Jul 28th. It will cover stuff since sec 3.4 till sec 7.3.

         Jul 23rd: Review stuff on matrix which is on sec 7.2 and get a beginning on sec 7.3. The 4^th quiz has been given today.

         Jul 25th: Return quiz 4 and finish section 7.3.

         Jul 28th: Midterm 2.

         Jul 30th: Return Midterm 2. Continuing sec 7.4, 7.5.

         Aug 1^st: Finish chap 7 and move onto section 9.1. The last maple lab S3 was given. It's due on Aug 8^th.

         Aug 4^th: Return S2. Deal with homework problems and then sec 9.2. The last quiz had been given.

         Aug 6th: Return quiz 5. Discuss section 9.3, 9.4.

         Aug 8^th: Discuss chapter 5.

         Aug 11^th: Review.

         Aug 13^th: Final exam.
