Announcements:
12/13/07: Please bring your RUID to the final exam- we will be checking them!
12/12/07: Here is a practice final that Professor Ferry prepared. The actual final exam should be shorter and less difficult.
There will be a televised review session led by Paul Raff. You can find information about the live broadcast and the reruns here.
12/5/07: The final exam will be on Monday, December 17th, from 4:00-7:00 PM in ARC 103 (Busch campus). Here you can find some information and practice problems. Professor Soffer will lead a review session on Thursday 12/13 at 1:00 PM in ARC 103.
12/5/07: Office hours for the rest of the semester are as follows:
Monday 12/10: none
Tuesday 12/11: none
Wednesday 12/12: 2-3 pm
Thursday 12/13: 10:30 am- 12 pm
Monday 12/17: 11:30 am- 1 pm, or drop by/call my office and try to catch me
11/28/07: Please review the solutions to the second midterm.
11/13/07: Change in office hours this week: Thursday 2-3 office hour is cancelled, but instead you are welcome to stop in anytime Thursday until 1:00 PM.

10/24/07: Here is a copy of the first midterm (without solutions). It's a good idea to retake it and make sure everything is crystal clear!
10/15/07: Office hours are cancelled next Tuesday, 10/23. Send me an email if you want to arrange an alternate time to meet with me.
10/15/07: The second exam will be given in class on Monday, November 19th.

10/8/07: Recitations this Thursday are cancelled. Why not use part of your extra hour to check out this cool Trig "Magic Hexagon"? Thanks to Professor Herschkorn for showing me this.
10/1/07: Due to next week's exam, homework assignments will be pushed off for a week. So WeBWorK Assignment 5 will be due on 10/20/07. Please use the extra time to study!!
10/1/07: REMINDER: The first EXAM will be given in class next Wednesday, 10/10/07. The exam will cover Chapter 1, Chapter 2, and Sections 3.1-3.4. I will hold extra office hours next week as follows (in 409 CoRE on Busch Campus):
Monday 10/8:  9:00 AM-12:00 PM, 1:00 PM-3:00 PM
Tuesday 10/9:  9:00 AM-11:30 PM, 1:30 PM- 4:00 PM
Wednesday 10/10: No formal office hours scheduled but feel free to drop by my office anytime before 3 PM. You may want to call first to make sure I'm around. My number is (732) 253-7866.  
9/16/07: Note that from now on WeBWorK assignments will be due each SATURDAY, not Sunday. However, I strongly recommend you complete them by Wednesday each week, so that you can be ready for Wednesday's lecture and get started on the next problem set right away.
9/5/07: The first WeBWorK assignment is available online and is due next Sunday, 9/16, at 5 PM.
9/5/07: Homework 0 (optional, but encouraged) is due in class on Monday 9/10.
9/5/07: The Math & Science Learning Center will be hosting "How to Do Well in Calculus 135" on Tuesday, 9/11, at 5:30 PM in ARC 332
