Write a paragraph about why you are taking this class (for fun, to satisfy a requirement, as a prerequisite for another class?), what your last math class was (and if it was taken recently), and whether you plan to take more math classes. Include anything else about your background, future plans, or whatever else that you’d like me to know (doesn’t have to be math-related).

Do not stress out about this (informal) assignment! It’s not for a grade, it’s just for me to get to know you better, and to better tailor the class to your needs.
