Benjamin Micheal Davis was born on May 20, 1811, in London England. On Jul. 4, 1838 he married Nancy Benjamin Polack (Dec. 6, 1919- Nov. 17 1900) daughter of William Nathan Ppolack and Rose Polack.

Benjamin was an clothier, worked in an auction house, and a sexton. He was a sexton of congregation Bnei jeshurun in manhattan from 1842-5 then in Shamay Tefila intill death. Benjamin Micheal Davis and Nancy Davis's children are:
