Samuel Bach was the first to acquire the surname Bach.
He was born in 1785 as Samuel ben Gabriel.
He married Heffel (Heve, Eva) Kohn (1788-?) on Oct. 3, 1816.
Samuel and Heffel Bach had the following children

Gabriel Bach (27th April 1818- 13th May 1818)

Isak Bach (?-?) who also died in infancy.

Golda Bach Mittel (March 3, 1823-?) who married S. Mittel
and lived in Oberstreu.
