Dear Doron,

I could drop a note into the mailbox of my neighbor,
Maitre Philippe Hoepffner.  Here is his answer:

A bill was voted on January 3, 1972 that modified article 757 of the
Code Civil and said that the illegitimate child has the same rights
as the legitimate child, as far as succession rights are concerned.

There are still some exceptions regarding the aldulterine children
in presence of legitimate children.

(He does not mention which ones!).


Perhaps he will tell me more next time!
