Dear Prof. Zeilberger,
   Many thanks for sending your comment.  I would answer that the
real scandal in my Social Text article is not in the *fact* of its
acceptance by Social Text, but in its *content*:  it is an annotated
bibliography of charlatanism, nonsense and sloppy thinking by dozens
of prominent French and American intellectuals.  In case you haven't
had access to it, I'll send you a Postscript copy.
