Grader Application Summer 2019

Information about the position:

Graders are typically given a few days to grade an assignment, so the working hours of graders are flexible. The pay is $520-700 (total) for grading one class (depending on the level); the work load is a total of 5-10 hours per week, on average, for one course during the summer, for a total of 60 hrs per course.

Before applying, please ask yourself if you will realistically have time to take on this commitment. It is extremely important that all deadlines the professors set for completing the grading are met. If you are interested in being considered for this position, please COMPLETE THE ENTIRE FORM below. Please note there is often considerable interest in these grading positions, so not every applicant could be hired. To be considered for a course, an applicant needs to have successfully completed the course (with an A grade) at Rutgers, and have a GPA of at least 3.4.

This SUMMER, we will be hiring graders for the following courses only:
103, 106
244, 250, 251, 252
300, 311, 351, 354, 356, 373
421, 428, 454, 477, 478, 481,

We will NOT hire graders for any other courses. Please do not request them.

The time commitment is 60 hours per class for all courses except 244 and 251. The time commitment for Math 244 and Math 251 is 45 hours per class.
Please list course NUMBER and GRADE only. For example, if you have earned an A in Math 250, and a B in Math 300, then write: 250-A, 300-B.
Please separate course numbers with commas.
Please list all Math courses taken at Rutgers, regardless of grade.
List course numbers ONLY. For example, 250, 244. Do NOT write Math 250. Do NOT write the name of the course.
Please separate course numbers with commas.
Please include the course number (for example, 250).
For example, if you graded for Math 251 with Professor Mavrea, write: 251-Mavrea.
