Topological uniqueness of self-expanders of low entropy

Abstract:  Self-expanders are a special class of solutions to mean curvature flow, in which a later time slice is a scale-up copy of an earlier one. They are expected to model the flow that emerges from a conical singularity as well as the long time behavior of the flow. In this talk, we show, for any regular cone of low entropy, all self-expanders that are asymptotic   to the cone are in the same isotopy class.
