On conformal geometry of conic 4-manifolds

Abstract: In this talk, we define conic 4-manifolds generalizing a similar construction on surfaces by Troyanov. We then discuss some geometric PDEs on conic 4-manifolds that arises from conformal geometry. We will present a joint work with Biao Ma on a sufficient condition for the existence of constant Q-curvature metrics for conic 4-manifolds and discuss the related Adams inequality. We will also present a joint work with Wei Wei on a necessary condition for the existence of constant sigma2 curvature metrics for conic 4-spheres.
