Building a second grading on symplectic Khovanov homology

Symplectic Khovanov homology was defined to be a singly graded link

invariant that is conjecturally isomorphic to Khovanov homology after

collapsing two gradings by Seidel and Smith. Over characteristic 0

fields, the conjecture was proved by Abouzaid and Smith. In this talk,

I will construct a well-defined second grading on symplectic Khovanov

homology, following Abouzaid-Smith’s idea of the weight grading. I

will also show that the second grading recovers the Jones grading

through the isomorphism to Khovanov homology over any characteristic 0

field.
