Abstract:
In this expository talk, I will present on the paper by Korobkov, Pileckas, Russo in 2015, Annals of Mathematics. They studied the nonhomogeneous boundary value problem for the stationary Navier Stokes equations in: 1) bounded, multiply connected plane domains, 2) bounded axially symmetric spatial domains. They proved existence of a solution to this problem assuming only the necessary condition of zero total flux through the boundary. Bernoulli\u2019s law for a weak solution to the Euler equations is used in the proof.
