Knot Floer homology and surgery problems for 3-manifolds

Abstract: The talk will discuss some open problem related to knots and three-dimensional manifolds. I will also discuss related constructions in knot Floer homology, and a joint work with Peter Ozsvath on developing algebraic invariants for knots using a family of bordered knot algebras.
