Nodal sets and negative eigenvalues in conformal geometry

Abstract: We shall discuss some results in conformal geometry related to negative eigenvalues of conformally covariant operators (like conformal Laplacian), and to nodal sets of their eigenfunctions. We shall also describe some applications to scalar curvature prescription problems.
